Ms Karanja’s move comes after weeks of speculation on what political vehicle she will use in her quest for the Nakuru senatorial seat.
Earlier she had denied her association with UDA but her recent interactions with Incumbent senator, Susan Kihika raised eyebrows on whether she was headed to UDA.
The renowned business woman was welcomed to UDA by Dp Ruto at the ASK show ground, Nakuru on UDA’s inaugural joint public rally with ANC and Ford Kenya.
Tabitha said that she had listen to Dp Ruto’s ideology and talked to her supporters who urged her to join UDA.
“To the DP, I have listened to you and I have practised that for the last twenty five years and I am a practical example of bottom-up.
I ask you when you make the Cabinet, remember the problem businesses have gone through. You should know that we want a conducive environment for businesses. High taxation has brought down companies,” she said.
