Barely days after declaring her interest in the Kiambu Women representative seat, Celebrated Gospel musician Loise Kim joined Deputy President William Ruto’s led United Democratic Alliance (UDA) on Monday 24th of January, 2022.

The Kikuyu Musician was welcomed by Deputy President William Ruto at his Karen residence,on a day where UDA unveiled their new aspirants,led by incumbent Starehe mp, Charles Kanyi Njagua who defected from Jubilee.

Ms Kim, joins a list of popular artists who have expressed their interests in the political field.The Musician is expected to battle it out with other aspirants for the UDA woman representative party ticket.

Last week, reknowned marriage counselor Ann Muratha joined UDA after meeting Dp Ruto at his residence in Karen and is set to battle out with Ms Kim for the Woman representative party ticket.

Deputy President William Ruto has in the past insisted that UDA will deliver free and fair nominations and that no aspirant had the party direct ticket.

In a recent meeting with UDA aspirants,Ruto issued a warning to members, saying public endorsements of certain leaders may be interpreted to mean that the leaders had already bagged the UDA ticket at expense of other aspirants with Murang’a senator Irungu Kang’ata confirming UDA leaders had resolved to be impartial in order to preserve the image of the outfit ahead of the primaries.
